The mission of Christian Education is to know and experience God through Jesus Christ, to claim and live God's promises, and to serve and grow as Christian disciples.  The centerpieces of our education ministry is Sunday School and Wonderful Wednesdays. We have several adult Sunday school classes that provide a variety of approaches to studying the Bible and being a member of the community of faith. There are dynamic classes for children and youth arranged according to age and grade. We encourage you to visit several classes to find the best fit for you and your family.

Other opportunities for spiritual growth throughout the year include retreats for children and youth, Disciple Bible studies, Confirmation for 6th Graders, Vacation Bible School, Sunday night Bible studies, and much more.

"Wonderful Wednesdays" is our midweek program for all ages to come learn in fellowship together.  We have dinner at 5:45 pm and a variety of programs begin at 6:30 pm. Our Wednesday programming runs September through mid May.

Classes and programming offered this semester include:

Red Letters:  This is an exciting Bible study opportunity focusing on Jesus!  We will be delving into Jesus' sermons, his parables, and his intimate conversations.  In fact, we will read and consider every recorded word spoken by our Savior.  This class is led by our Minister of Discipleship, Jeff Littrell, and will include some lecture with ample time for discussion.

Prayer Shawl:  This ministry creates love and comfort for those in need by knitting and crocheting shawls.  If you don't know how to knit or crochet, someone will be glad to teach you!

The DVD study group meets in room 25 and is covering the history of Judaism and how it is relevant to us as Christians today.  They are using Professor Shai Cherry's Introduction to Judaism text to propel their study.
