John Wesley Vaughan ,
John is responsible for helping the congregation to reach people for Christ, develop disciples and live lives of compassion mercy and justice. He preaches, teaches, works with leaders and tries to hang out with people as much as possible. He enjoys people dropping by to chat and his door is always open.
John is married to Melisa Derseweh, Senior Pastor at Andrew Price Memorial United Methodist Church. They have three children, Brandi, a middle school teacher in Nashville, Michael, who works for Mahle in Murfreesboro and Nathaniel, who is a criminal defense attorney.

Director of Youth and Family Ministires
Sheryl Mabry serves as the Director of Youth & Family Ministries. She came to Murfreesboro to attend Middle Tennessee State University and fell in love with the city. She worked for 12 years in ministry with college students after graduation and now enjoys working with a broader age range here at Trinity UMC. She has two children, Brandon and Kelsey, who both currently attend Discovery Elementary.

Treasurer & Preschool Director
Charlene has enjoyed a highly successful career as a choral conductor, educator, and church musician, serving churches in Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, and Tennessee. She is the founding director of music for the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Kansas City, where she oversaw a program that included more than 300 participants in a variety of ensembles for young children through senior adults. She currently serves as the Director of Music at Trinity UMC, where she oversees all aspects of the music ministry. She also serves in the church office with her position as part-time secretary. In addition to her responsibilities at Trinity, Charlene directs the Murfreesboro Symphony Chorus. She is married to Michael Parkinson, director of the MTSU School of Music and resides with her family in Murfreesboro.

Contemporary Worship Leader
John Salaway has been a contemporary worship leader for almost twenty years and has helped create TUMC's uplifting "Come and See" service which takes place on the first Saturday of each month at 5:30pm. John is a recording artist, published songwriter, and nationally endorsed multi instrumentalist who was recently voted "Nashville's indie pop artist of the year."
